I liked it, but it definately wasn't as great as the first movie. At least, that's my opinion.
You really should see the first one, Terra. Now that one was "bloody brilliant", hehe.

Meh, it had it's moments, and the action and special effects were brilliant, however, some of the characters started to droop slightly as the movie drolled on. Elizabeth became annoying, Will became slightly oblivious, and Jack just made a complete fool of himself. The reaccuring cast was a welcome sight, but they weren't used enough in terms of emotion, backstory, and acting. Otherwise, the villians were well-built, but near the end, Davy Jones just seemed stumped, unintelligent, and lacking in his villanous lust. However, the whole 'Commodore stealing the heart...' and 'Elizabeth starting to have feelings for Jack' deal should provide enough backbone and story for the third installment.

Eh, I haven't seen it yet... and after seeing these reviews, I think I might just wait until it comes out on dvd...or just not see it at all. However, I will say that the soundtrack for the first movie is so much better than the new one. BRING BACK KLAUS BADLET! DIE HANZ ZIMMER!....ok... I'm done.

Thank you Sage for sharing that lovely movie. Even though I don't fully agree with the little ninja guy, that was freakin' hilarious.

I thought it was fairly decent. It was pretty funny and I'm looking forward to the third movie.
I liked the effects and if I wasn't spoiled about the ending, I probably would have thought that was a pretty cool twist.

hey I saw Curse of the Black Pearl! I actually think that it was better than Dead man's chest! I loved how everytime the moonlight touched them they turn to bone! I have a question Capt. Barbosa didn't die right? Cause he was in the second movie.
