The brain taunting Robin, and whatnot, yeah good start. But I feel as if he was getting way too repetitive, I am we have defeated you, one by one you will all fall... blah blah blah. He was missing something, I don't know but it's like he wasn't as evil or just as malicious as he was from the start. Same with Madame Rogue, she's an awesome female villain, and they just made her bow down to the Titans, a good fight may have been nice, she's notorious for doing so. Plus, the brain seemed to just be way too submissive to the Titans and his defeat and whatnot. The whole Brother of Evil was just really under rated in this episode or something. Immortulus is a funny little man though, laughed as I watched him get drowned by Aqualad's wave.
I know alot of people were probably like "BB you bad ass" in the begining when he caused all those robots to explode. Yeah that was a pretty nice touch to his serious side. He who has battled the Brother Hood of Evil longer than any of the Titans seriously knows what he's dealing with. But after a while it got pretty boring a slow. And wasn't that a secret base? Wasn't so secret if Mas, Pantha, Jericho, and Herald found it. If Raven thinks they suck at making secret bases, then she's a hypocrite, because the Titan's don't do a good job at it either (lol).
So the unlikely heroes band together, proving to us that no matter what ability a team holds, they are just as capable of taking a brick powerhouse, and a few baddies. But all in one, the begining seemed to lag. Was it me or did Herald sound like See-more, and Private Hive like Robin. Otherwise, that was a pretty nice scene, when Jericho takes over Private Hive, and makes him beat him up, classic I guess.
So the scene rolls on over to the whole battle sequence. Pretty lagging, got better after all the titans reappeared. Question, how the heck did RedStar get back? I thought like... yeah. And how did Starfire find him? But you know the Titan writers, they're crazy, I'll forgive them for that.
Battle sequence, the whole instrumental theme song jip, very cool I must say. It must have taken a real long time for all those little moves and whatnot. That was the highlight of the show, I would hope it was for everyone, or else it would have just been a really bad episode. Not that it was but it wasn't that great either.
Jinx going good, yes I saw that coming, nice touch. She makes a rather nice good guy. KidFlash and Jinx... those shippers must be going crazy.
Heh heh, Raven still showing her maternal side, very cute.
Things I hated.
The whole "Starfire I could use a hand"... stupid R/S moments, always ruining the flow of an episode or scene with their constant uselessness. WE GET IT you're gonna pair them, let them kiss or something, so these shippers will all shut up (lol).
Madame Rogue, Mallah, and The Brain going down so easily. Throughout the (bad) season, they were all protrayed as these malicious villains (unlike slade lol) who had this air of invincibility around them. But hey, the Titans have to win right? The good guys ALWAYS have to win.
Redstar coming back, I know I said I'd forgive them, but geez, can't these writers be consistent?
The overall flow of the episode. Slow, lagging, fast paced, intense, intriguing. That's how I would summarize it. Just like every god forsaken episode in this season. I seriously thought these finales could be so much better, but I guess this is the "better" we'll all get. There as only one intense sequence, no nerve racking scenes, and the only thing that kept me down was wanting to watch the Titans fight... see how they would handle their powers against these group of villains.
Raven was right, it was getting easy, but it always gets easy, right? So what are they complaining about, face it you guys suck in individual battles, but when it comes to team work you're on the top. I believe I have discovered the moral of season five (lol xD)
Though I still don't see why the group of villains couldn't possess more of a threat. Meh... time was running out that's why.
All in one, I really wished this was better. I REALLY wish season 5 was just better... it really could have been but, fine we got our last season. Let's get disappointed by the Movie (no I'm kidding)
But today's the premiere of the final episode... Teen Titans is on it's way to show times that no one will be able to watch unless they don't go to school. And well... I know there will be alot of fans writing to CN or whatever. Much Luck to you all and you're hopes of bringing back the Titans. My favorite series was slaugthere in season five, unless they've got something good coming in season six, I'll most likely watch it, and probably enjoy it again. yAy
I on the other hand will sit back and wait for Justice League Unlimited...
We Will Miss You All
