Haha that's funny.
Actually i have never heard of sigh? Are they heavy metal....because if so then I'd like to check it out.
And just so you know you guys are not alone, I listen to all sorts of hardcore weird things people think I'm crazy.
Did anyone mention Korn yet? They're cool.

actually...no! I shouldve mentioned Korn..damn! though I only have one album..'Follow the Leader' its fairly class now!! though Beldarr will probably say not heavy enough ..but again I dont care, I like stuff that isnt heavy,heavy..something with a good tune and a beat I can follow rocks too!! ever heard of a band named Cathedral..they're pretty d**n heavy..though in a really cool 70's way..dunno how to explain it... here..go to this site... www.pandora.com and put in Cathedral and thank me laters!

I mentioned korn, the only non death metal band I listen to, in fact, they fall into their own genre of music, they arent really metal, acid rock, or even goth rock. And Im still trying to figure out the backwards R trick on the computer.

it cant be done!! if you try you'll open up a pandoras box of disaster that'll only lead to the world imploding...oh and again..they are prog metal..not to the truely amazing musicianship of Opeth or Tool but good enough...

actually, If you read rolling stone magazine, they arent even given a music genre, it just says Korn (stupid R) and then it gives the title of the album, and then a brief description, they definitely arent prog metal though, I can tell you that.

how so...I believed that prog metal is basically metal that goes further creatively than most other metal acts...Korn have done that, not only incorporating guitar work but putting new types of sounds in their music to create an entirely original sound...much like bands such as Opeth or Tool?

well, opeth and tool have to use synthesizers and mixers, Korn just uses seven stringed guitars and funky sounds. I cant beleive I just said funky

I'm random with music...though Nightwish, Rhapsody, and Blind Guardian are at the top.

I'm not really into one type either. I like almost anything from The Beatles to Slayer.
